The exhibition „145 years of deaf education in Estonia” takes place in Tallinn University Mare building, Uus-Sadama 5, 3rd floor. The exhibition is open 6-20 February 2012, from Monday to Sunday 8 am-8 pm.
There are photos of deaf schools, teaching materials, hearing aids, and information about sign language interpreting service at the exhibition. Presentation and film about Porkuni School will be shown on 8 and 15 February at 1-1.45 pm. It is possible to learn Estonian Sign Language on 8 and 15 February at 2-2.45 p
The exhibition „145 years of deaf education in Estonia” is organised by the Estonian Association of the Deaf in cooperation with Tallinn University, the Estonian Pedagogical Archive-Museum and the Council of Gambling Tax.
No admission fee.
